With the aim to push the use and implementation of new technologies in the schools and educational centers, ITWorldEdu presented a comprehensive agenda with activities and conferences with some of the most well known experts such as Alfons Cornella, Eric Klopfer and Francis Pisani. EBD is one of companies who is promoting the event, along with other companies as Qualiteasy and Polymita Technologies.
EBD presented Stergo's success story as the new operational system to ensure educational achievement, demonstrating a complete tool to develop an online collaborative platform. Stergo, promoted by Exlibris Ediciones, is a multi-language platform that offers a collaborative environment among students, teachers and parents. It is a pedagogical resource that is updated every year with the contributions from other participating schools and educational institutions.
The audience discovered how this tool adapts to different users and profiles. For instance, the students can manage their time independently, to schedule their agenda, to obtain an evaluation of the learning methodologies and the goals achieved. The parents can consult the school tasks and homework of their children the subject they kids have to study, the methodology to follow, as well as to provide direct channels of communications with the professors.
The active role of EBD at the ITWorldEdu proves the importance that e-learning technologies play in the company focus, as well as the willingness of EBD to share with other market players its knowledge and expertise developing innovative solutions for the educational industry.
