ITworldEdu, the great Meeting Point towards Excellence in Educational Technology and EBD, pioneering proprietary-software provider for web applications development and Organizing Committee Member; have announced the third edition of the ITworldEdu Award to the Best Educational Technology Solution developed by education centres. The prize will be presented at the ITworldEdu 2010 Summit framework, to be held on October the 27th, 28th and 29th in Barcelona.
The ITworldEdu 2010 Award has the aim of recognizing the growing effort of the educational field in the creation and assessment of new digital resources; recognizing teaching and administrative staff at educational centers as the main agents of educational innovation through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT); and stimulating and informing technological suppliers, as well as the entire education sector, about the high-quality, creative and innovative tools that really work in the classroom, enable personalized learning and facilitate teaching and managing.

ITworldEdu 2010 is the third edition is organized by CETEI-Fundació Joan XXIII, is promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, the Ajuntament de Barcelona, the Cambra de Comerç de Barcelona and Catalan companies from the ICT sphere among which stands EBD.
EBD takes part in the conception and development of this project and with the EBD Web platform helps ITWorldEdu to become the meeting point for technology and education professionals to share ideas, learn from success stories and real experiences, empower network relationships, initiate commercial agreements, and show the last innovations.
